Slate Run

Took the kids to Slate Run Park again a couple of months back. Here are some of the photos from that trip. Sorry again about the watermarks, but you never can be too careful.

San Francisco

I am unloading pictures from my memory card, and so will be dumping a lot of photos up here. Here are two that I took in San Francisco in March. Enjoy.

Spring Semester Ecorche

Hello everyone. I haven't posted in a while again. (Seems to be the traditional introduction on this blog now.) Anyway, during the spring I was taking an Ecorche course for my MFA program. The concept is that you can learn anatomy by building the human figure from the inside out. Like a reverse dissection. Rather than cut in from the outside, you build it up. So, over the course of fifteen weeks, I modeled a half scale model of the human figure. I started out with building an armature and modeling the skeleton. Then I layered up the musculature from the deep muscles to the surface ones. I definitely learned a lot. I realize that some of my anatomy is off, but overall, it was a great experience. Anyway, since I haven't had many other projects I can show yet, I thought I would post this to show the end result of the ecorche course.
